1. Our Commitment and Principles
At Aeget, protecting user data privacy and asset security is our core principle. As a responsible global digital asset trading platform, we are committed to combating illegal activities, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and various financial crimes.
To maintain community safety, Aeget will cooperate with information disclosure or asset restriction requests from legitimate Law Enforcement Agencies (LEA) worldwide, provided they adhere to the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity.
2. Requirements for Law Enforcement Requests
To ensure the security of user information, Aeget will only process requests that meet the following criteria:
Valid Legal Documents: LEAs must provide a formal subpoena, court order, search warrant, or an inquiry letter with equivalent legal authority.
Official Channel Submission: All legal requests must be sent from an official government email address (e.g., suffixes like .gov, .police, etc.) to our official support email: support@aeget.com.
Clear Target Information: Requests must include specific identifiers, such as User UID, registered email address, Transaction Hash (TXID), or associated wallet addresses.
3. Our Request Processing Procedure
Aeget maintains a professional Compliance and Security Team responsible for strictly reviewing every legal request:
Identity Verification: Verifying the authenticity and jurisdiction of the requesting personnel and agency.
Compliance Review: Assessing whether the request complies with local laws and Aeget’s Terms of Service.
Principle of Minimization: We only disclose the necessary information specifically required by law and directly related to the investigation (e.g., registration records, IP addresses, deposit/withdrawal logs).
Asset Disposition: Account restrictions or freezes will only be executed upon receipt of a valid court-issued freezing order.
4. Cross-Border Legal Cooperation
For international investigation requests, Aeget typically requires LEAs to coordinate through Mutual Legal Assistance Treaties (MLAT) or the relevant embassy/consulate to ensure the process aligns with international legal standards.
5. User Rights and Disclosure
Unless restricted by "Non-Disclosure" clauses in legal provisions or involving high-risk criminal investigations, Aeget will remain as transparent as possible within the limits allowed by law.
Special Note: Aeget will never request a user's private keys or account passwords through unofficial channels (such as Telegram, WhatsApp, or personal social media accounts).
6. Law Enforcement Contact Point
Official Support Email: support@aeget.com
Response Time: We typically provide an initial response within 7 business days of receiving a valid request. For emergency cases (e.g., involving immediate threats to life), please mark the subject line as [URGENT]
Thank you for your trust in Aeget. We will continue to improve our compliance framework to protect the legitimate rights of our users while contributing to a safer blockchain ecosystem.
