Perpetual Copy Trading Rules

1. Copy Trading Settings

1.1 Copying Method

AEGET offers two copy trading options:

• Fixed Margin: The system will follow the trader using a fixed margin you set for each trade.
• Fixed Ratio: You will follow the trader's trade based on a fixed ratio.

Example: Copied Quantity = Trader's Quantity × Fixed Ratio.

1.2 Contract Selection

You can choose to follow all available pairs (e.g., BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT) or only specific contracts.

1.3 Leverage Settings

• Set a fixed leverage multiplier, or
• Choose to follow the trader's leverage setting automatically.

1.4 TP/SL Settings

• Users can set independent Take Profit and Stop Loss levels per position.
• Once set, positions will not be affected by the trader's TP/SL or manual closure.
• The system will execute based on your pre-set rules.

2. Common Reasons for Copy Failure

2.1 No Position Opened by Trader

Copying only works when the trader opens a position. If not, copying cannot proceed.

2.2 Insufficient Balance

If your account balance is insufficient to meet the margin requirements, the system will block the copy trade.

2.3 Exceeds Limits

If the copied amount exceeds the contract's max position limit or falls below the minimum open size, copying will fail.

3. Open and Close Rules

3.1 Opening Trades

Once the trader opens a position, the system will execute a synced copy trade based on your configured margin and leverage.

3.2 Closing Trades

• Auto Close: System auto-closes at your preset TP/SL prices using market orders.
• Manual Close: You can manually close copied positions anytime from the "Active Copy Trades" page.

4. How to Cancel Copying

4.1 Cancel Copying a Trader

• Go to "Copy Homepage → My Traders";
• Click [Unfollow] on the selected trader;
• You will no longer copy new trades from this trader.

4.2 Handling Open Orders

• Follow Trader: Your existing copied positions will still follow the trader's closing actions.
• Manual Close: You can manually close any active copied orders.
